On December 2, 1867, Charles Dickens began his first American reading tour of A Christmas Carol in Boston. Join us at the Omni Parker House, the historic site of Dickens’ first performance, on Monday, December 18 for a special reading of this timeless holiday tale by your favorite WBUR radio personalities: Meghna Chakrabarti, Jack Lepiarz, Bill Littlefield, Scott Simon, and Robin Young.

Come celebrate the 15th anniversary of this annual WBUR event and support the women of Rosie's Place with your ticket purchase. Holiday cookies and hot cocoa will be provided during intermission. Rosie's Place holiday cards and jewlery from the Women's Craft Cooperative will also be available for purchase—just in time for final holiday shopping! We can't wait to see you at the event!
